All plotted map products listed below are available for purchase at the Enterprise GIS Document Shop located at 30 North Market Street. Maps are updated as needed.

Both 8.5 x 11" and 34 x 44 " maps are available in PDF format below for download. The costs listed are for a print of the detailed 34 x 44 " plotted maps. The scale for 8.5 x 11" is 1:280,000 and the scale of the 34 x 44" maps is 1:70,000.

New PDF Features

Our PDFs now provided advanced geographical components, available through ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.3 and Adobe Acrobat 9 software packages. These new PDFs now have a Geospatial Location tool as well as various Measuring Tools. To utilize these tools you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 external link or higher. Help is available for using these tools.

If you are using Windows Explorer and Acrobat 7 to view the pdf files, you might run into a 'Insufficient data for an image" message . If that is the case, save a copy of the pdf file in your local disk, and open the pdf file from Acrobat Reader.

* Indicates that the data on the map will be changing by late February / early March 2010, due to the County-wide Plan update.

Map Atlases Now Available

These 11 x 17 " maps are organized by tax map at a scale of 1: 14,400. These atlases no longer use the tax maps as a base layer. Instead, the data has been digitized to the more accurate Frederick County parcel layer. If you would like more information or a print out of the maps, please contact the Division of Planning. The cost of printing an 11 x 17" map will be $10. * Indicates that the data on the map atlases will be changing by late February / early March 2010, due to the County-wide Plan update.
